Privacy policy

Information you give us

• Discovery call requests: your name, email, organization, website, budget range, the help you want, project details and, if you choose, your phone number. Campaigns also tell us the office or organization and the election date.
• Website review requests: your website address and contact details.
• Client view requests: your email and, if you choose, your name.
• "Get this plan by email": your first name, your email and the plan's inputs and results.
• Ask P1 conversations: the questions you ask and the answers, plus your name and email if you leave them.
• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
• Career introductions: your name, email, portfolio or LinkedIn link and experience.
• Text message consent: whether you agreed to texts, when, and the exact wording you agreed to.

Information collected automatically

• The pages you visit, the links and buttons you use, the site that referred you, your browser, device type and language, and your approximate location from your IP address, such as your country.
• Campaign tags in the links you followed (UTM parameters) and, when advertising is on, ad click IDs such as gclid or fbclid.
• Information from cookies and similar tools, described in the next section.

Information from others

• Advertising platforms tell us how our ads perform, usually as totals.
• If we use call tracking, the provider tells us the calling number, the time and length of the call, and which page or ad led to it.

You choose which categories run, except necessary ones. Visitors in the United States start with analytics and advertising on and session recordings off. Visitors elsewhere start with everything off until they choose. You can change your choice any time with Your Privacy Choices.

• To answer your request, schedule a call and send you what you asked for.
• To send our newsletter, if you subscribed, and texts, if you agreed to them.
• To understand how the site is used and to improve its pages, tools and Ask P1.
• To measure and improve our own advertising, based on your choices.
• To protect the site, prevent spam and abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We don't use your information to make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Service providers

Companies that run parts of the site for us may use information only to provide their service to us:

• Website hosting and platform: Lovable, which runs on Cloudflare's network.
• Database and form storage: Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase.
• AI assistant: Lovable AI, using a model from OpenAI, processes Ask P1 conversations to write the answers.

Analytics and advertising partners, based on your choices

Google (Analytics and Ads), Meta, LinkedIn and Microsoft (Clarity) receive information about your visit, in the categories you allow. When advertising is on and you send a form, Google and Meta also receive a scrambled (hashed) version of your email and phone number, so they can match the request to the ad that led to it.

Others, only when needed

To comply with the law or a valid legal request, to protect rights, safety and security, or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.

We never sell personal information for money. Some state privacy laws treat giving ad platforms information about your visit, so they can show you ads on other sites, as a "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can opt out in two ways:

• Use Your Privacy Choices, at the bottom of every page, and turn advertising off.
• Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We treat it as an opt-out for the browser you use.

Opting out in one browser or on one device doesn't carry over to another. We don't respond to Do Not Track signals, because there is no common standard for them.

If you check the box to receive texts, we text you about your request, such as scheduling and follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of working with us.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The sharing described in this policy excludes text messaging opt-in data and consent, which will not be shared with any third parties.

Ask P1 answers questions about our services using an AI model. What you type is sent to Lovable AI, which uses a model from OpenAI, to write the answer, and we save the conversation to improve the assistant. Please don't share sensitive information, such as health, financial or account details. If you leave your name and email, we save the conversation with your request so a strategist can follow up. Ask P1's answers can be wrong, and they are not quotes or commitments.

• Requests and leads: while we are in contact, and for up to three years after our last contact, or five years if you agreed to texts. If you become a client, our agreement governs.
• Form entries you started but didn't send: 90 days.
• Ask P1 conversations without contact details: 12 months.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Career introductions: two years.
• Privacy choice records: two years.
• Google Analytics data: 14 months.

We delete or anonymize information when these periods end, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

We protect information with access controls, encryption in transit and limited staff access. No online system is completely secure, so please don't send passwords, account numbers or other sensitive information through the site's forms or Ask P1.

Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we have about you and give you a copy
• correct information that is wrong
• delete your information
• stop using it for targeted advertising, or for sales and sharing as state laws define them

To make a request, email admin@positionone.ai with the subject "Privacy request", or call +1 (720) 339-8144. We confirm the request with the email address or phone number we have on file before we act on it. We respond within 45 days and tell you if we need up to 45 more. An authorized agent can make a request for you with your signed permission. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our answer with the subject "Appeal". We respond to appeals within 45 days, and if we deny the appeal, we tell you how to contact your state attorney general.

This site is for businesses and organizations and is not directed to anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email admin@positionone.ai and we will delete it.

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we ask for your permission first where the law requires it.
