Local SEO

The best Scottsdale SEO company for you: seven questions to ask.

Position One1 minute read

Search for the best Scottsdale SEO company and you will find list articles, sponsored placements and agencies ranking themselves first. None of that tells you which firm will grow your business. The best way to judge an SEO company is by the answers it gives before you hire it.

Questions about the work

First: what did you find on my site? A serious firm will have looked at your indexing, speed, page structure and local listings before the first call ends. Second: which pages will you build or rewrite, and why those? The answer should name specific services and searches. Third: how will you earn links and mentions? Look for real outreach, local partnerships and content worth citing, not purchased links.

Fourth: who will do the writing, and will it be reviewed by someone who understands my business? Thin, generic content is the most common reason SEO programs stall.

Questions about measurement

Fifth: how will you measure success? The best answer ties organic search to calls, forms and bookings, not just rankings. Sixth: who owns the accounts? You should own your Google Business Profile, Search Console, Analytics and website, and the firm should work inside them.

“There is no single best Scottsdale SEO company, only the best fit for your business.”

Questions about the agreement

Seventh: what is in the contract? You want a written scope, a clear fee and a reasonable exit clause. Long lock-in contracts usually protect the agency, not the client.

Red flags include guaranteed number-one rankings, secret methods, and reports that never mention leads. Google's own guidance on hiring an SEO warns against firms that guarantee rankings.

How we answer the same questions

We are a Scottsdale firm with an office in Old Town. We show the issues we find before you sign, write pages built for how local customers search, and report organic results through to calls and bookings. Our SEO and content service page explains the work, and you can bring all seven questions to a discovery call.

Common questions

Are 'best SEO company' lists reliable?

Some are useful starting points, but many are paid placements. Use them to build a short list, then judge each firm on its answers and its proposal.

Should I ask for references?

Yes. Ask to speak with a current client in a business similar to yours, and ask what changed in their leads, not just their rankings.

Can any company guarantee first place on Google?

No. Google controls its rankings and changes them constantly. A firm that guarantees a position is either misleading you or measuring a search nobody makes.
